Yoga Sculpt is a powerful Vinyasa Yoga classes linking breath and movement. Free weights are incorporated into the sequencing to challenge the breath and the body. Class is for all levels and modifications will be given.
Pilates Mat classes are a fun and challenging way to experience The Pilates Method. The mat repertoire consists of 45+ different exercises that will challenge the smaller more refined muscles of your body, along with breath, and rhythm. Pilates introduces the balance of strength and flexibility into one's body. Pilates exercises and principles can prevent injury, reduce re-injury and lessen chronic pain. Be prepared to sweat, move, and learn! Class is for all levels and modifications will be given.
This class is done 30 minutes on the mat and 30 minutes at the barre. A series of exercises are performed to create a balance between strength and flexibility. Students are taught how to be aware of their own proper alignment and full body strength by challenging muscles to their full capacity. This is a deeply healing and relaxing group class. Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. Students are guided through various asanas (mainly lying on your back, side, or stomach) throughout the class. Yoga blocks, bolsters, and pillows will be used to ensure complete relaxation.
