Recently, the New York Times published an articleabout a French amateur cyclist and world-record holder Robert Marchand who is more aerobically fit than most 50-year-olds at the age of 105 YEARS OLD!

During most of his working life as a truck driver, he did not exercise regularly, however, since his retirement he began cycling most days of the week. During his workouts he would gradually increase the intensity of his cycle rides, improving his endurance, strengthening his heart and ultimately giving him longevity with his loved ones.
